Service Description

Book an online video appointment for advice about your guinea pig with The Guinea Pig Vet, Ellie Whitehead BVetMed MRCVS. This appointment is for owners looking for information about their guinea pig's care, health and well-being. General questions about housing, diet, non-urgent health conditions or ongoing treatments can be answered from the comfort of your own home. You will also receive a follow-up email which details what has been discussed during your advice appointment. Please note, online advice appointments are not for emergency cases. Please visit your local vet practice if you think your case is urgent. We cannot make a formal diagnosis or prescribe medication during online advice appointments. Appointments will be over Zoom and payment for the appointment will be required at the time of booking. Please complete the booking form to give us more information about your query. We will contact you through Zoom at your selected day and time. If there are any technical difficulties, we will contact you to rearrange your appointment. You will receive a confirmation email after booking your appointment that will include a link to your online appointment. Cancellation must be 24 hours before the booked appointment slot. Refunds will not be given after this point.
